Street Lights & Traffic Signals

$1,500,000 (including administrative costs) was budgeted to replace street lighting and traffic signals with energy efficient lights throughout Nevada. This will allow regional transportation commissions and various Nevada communities to work in conjunction with each other to replace street lights with more energy efficient lighting and replace traffic signals with energy efficient LED lights. The lighting should not only boost energy savings, but also increase safety at intersections by increasing visibility.
